Standard Warranty Terms (Without App Registration)

  1. If you do not register for the Extended Warranty or are ineligible to do so, your Elito battery remains covered under our Standard Warranty.
  2. To initiate a claim under the Standard Warranty:
  3. Present the vehicle with the defective battery and proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) at any authorized Elito sales and service center.
The warranty period begins from the date of purchase stated on the proof of purchase (invoice).
  4. Warranty claims will be on a 1-to-1 replacement basis.
  5. The replaced battery will carry the remaining unexpired warranty period of the original defective battery.

Extended Warranty Terms (With App Registration)

Customers who register their Elito battery through our mobile app developed by Dexone Electrosafe Sdn Bhd. within 14 days of purchase are eligible for the Extended Warranty, which offers added convenience and extended coverage.

To qualify for the Extended Warranty:

Complete registration in the Elito Mobile App (available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store) within 14 days from the date of purchase.

Ensure all information provided is accurate and complete, including:

Car plate number
Proof of purchase (receipt/invoice)
Current car mileage
Extended Warranty coverage includes:

An additional warranty period on top of the Standard Warranty (varies by product type).
Warranty claims under the Extended Warranty will also follow the 1-to-1 replacement basis.
The replaced battery under extended warranty will carry the remaining balance of the warranty period of the defective battery.

Note: Failure to register within 14 days of purchase, or submission of incomplete/inaccurate information, will result in the Extended Warranty being voided. In such cases, your battery will remain protected under the Standard Warranty.

What or When Warranty Is Excluded

The Extended Warranty Period is not applicable if the Elito battery is not registered via the mobile app within 14 days of purchase.

Battery failure caused by overcharging or undercharging, resulting from a faulty alternator or other vehicle electrical system issues.

Damage to the battery due to negligence, abuse, mishandling, accidents, or explosions caused by external events.

Exposure of the battery to fire, flood, or other unusual events unrelated to standard automotive use.

Any incidental or consequential damages or losses resulting from battery failure.

Tampering with or alteration of any labels, manufacturing codes, product codes, or safety markings on the battery.

Transfer of the battery to another vehicle or transfer of vehicle ownership.

Presence of foreign substances or chemical additives in the battery electrolyte.

Use of the battery for non-automotive purposes.

Improper storage due to long periods of vehicle non-usage.

Use of an incorrect battery specification or failure to follow the vehicle manufacturer’s battery guidelines.

Incomplete or inaccurate information provided during mobile app registration, including car plate number, proof of purchase (invoice), or current car mileage.

Warranty Claim Procedure (SOP)

No on-the-spot one-to-one exchange – All warranty claims must go through a full inspection process.

Inspection process – Once the inspection is completed, our technician will inform the end-user whether the battery is defective or still in good working condition. The customer will then be notified to collect either the original battery (if in good condition) or a replacement battery (if found defective) at the outlet.

Temporary battery loan – During the inspection period, end-users may request to borrow a battery, subject to availability:

Used battery – RM50 refundable deposit required.
If no used battery is available, a brand-new battery may be provided as a temporary loan. In this case, a refundable deposit equivalent to the current Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is required.

Deposit/refund process –

For used batteries, the RM50 deposit will be fully refunded once the battery is returned in acceptable condition.
For brand new batteries, if the warranty claim is approved (i.e., the inspected battery is confirmed defective), the RRP deposit will be fully refunded and the end-user may continue using the new battery — no return is required. If the inspected battery is found to be in good condition, the new battery must be returned in good condition for a full refund of the deposit.

Note: This warranty claim procedure serves as a general guideline. Some dealers may follow different processes, such as inspection period, temporary battery loan or replacement. Kindly refer to the respective dealer’s policy for details.

Service Charges

A recommended service charge of RM20 to RM50 may apply if the warranty claim is made at a participating dealer other than the original place of purchase.

Outdoor service – If outdoor service is requested:

Within a 15KM radius – A recommended service charge of RM30 to RM50 may apply.
Beyond 15KM – An additional charge of RM5 per KM may be applied.

Note: These charges are suggested rates and may vary slightly depending on dealer policies or local conditions.
